Triple Jack

Kelsall K 46 R

Triple Jack Kelsall K46 trimaran.

Built in the UK she has a terrific history that is told on her website

 https://triplejackbvi.com

I have included her drawings and various photos of her history as a racing and cruising trimaran. Designed to be self righting she was built in a year and qualified for the 1981 TWOSTAR race and builders, skipper Frank Wood said that:  Triple Jack got dismasted about 190 mile from the finish in Newport Rhode Island. The boat was insured and judgement in the high court was awarded to me and insurance co…and Proctor Mast was ordered to pay for the salvage and all repairs.

She was second in her class in the 1982 round Britain Race.

In the 1984 OSTAR Frank again was dismasted due to a failed chainplate, Frank managed to save the mast and he was towed into Lisbon by a Portugese patrol boat.

For the past 30 years she has been owned by owned by Richard Wooldridge and Steve Davis based in the British Virgin Islands.
